Cancellation and refund policies listed below apply equally to students who have enrolled directly with Village English Ltd or through an Agent. Refunds to students who enrolled through agents should be collected from the agent. The refund will be applied to the original method of payment, e.g. if the fees were paid by credit card, then Village English Ltd will issue a credit against the original credit card for the refund.
Bank fees will apply. Refunds will be paid within 30 days of receiving written notification of cancellation.
If any student is refused entry by Immigration Canada or wishes to cancel his or her course before coming to Canada, that student is entitled to a refund of the prepaid fees, except for the amount of CAD $300 to cover all application fees. To be eligible for this refund, a copy of Immigration Canada’s Rejection Letter, in addition to a written request for a refund, must be received by Village English not less than 21 days before the course start date. Village English Ltd cannot be held responsible if any student fails to obtain the appropriate documentation for entering Canada.
Regardless of the cause, students who wish to postpone their start date must contact Village English Ltd in writing 21 days before the course start date.
Students who already started classes and want to change program, cancel or take vacation must give notice in writing to Village English Ltd at least 14 days prior.
No refund will be given, but the remaining of the tuition fee can be applied in future courses within 6 month period from the date the written notice is received.
An administration fee of $90 will be applied for any change of the original course and starting date.
Students canceling a Homestay service will be charged a penalty fee of one (1) week per each five (5) weeks canceled.
All application fees, placement fees, courier fees, custodian letter, insurance and bank fees are non‐refundable. There is no refund of any tuition fees once the program has commenced and the student has already participated in one or more classes.
Where Village English Ltd has to dismiss the student for disrespect, violence, harassment or any other situation related to the student bad conduct, there will be NO REFUND.
There will be no refunds or make-up class for Canadian holidays or missed classes.
